Specialties

I am a trauma-informed integrative depth therapist, specializing in sexuality & relationships, grief/loss, and LGBTQ+ issues. That includes anyone who has grown up feeling unaccepted as their authentic self or experienced the loss of a loved one.

I especially understand the deep impact of childhood trauma and how to approach healing. To quote Carl Jung, “I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.” Together, we can explore how your past experiences have shaped you and figure out how to make changes that will improve your quality of life.

How I Work

I believe healing begins with connection. Good therapy is a safe place where all parts of you are welcome! The trust we build together comes with an open invitation to explore the protected parts of yourself at your own pace. You’ll get to embrace what is working well in your life, and we’ll work together to shift the parts that feel challenging or overwhelming. We’ll practice new ways of being, communicating, and relating.

I use a variety of evidence-based approaches customized to your individual personality and needs. We'll start with what's bringing you to therapy. I'll ask about your childhood and other important life experiences. Then, we'll work together to notice what the mind, heart, and body are all communicating about your needs. You'll learn to hone and trust your own instincts while inviting non-judgmental curiosity about parts of yourself that may need to be better understood.
